Have you ever attended a training course or event where you were asked to step out of your comfort zone? Have you ever felt rushed at work? Have you ever been asked to take part in something that made you feel distressed inside?

A delicate balancing act

Accompanying organizational change and personal transformation is a delicate balancing act. On the one hand, if we stay in our comfort zone, nothing will change and we’ll achieve the same results. On the other hand, we have to go through uncomfortable, even difficult moments of personal and collective transformation in order for a new form to emerge.

My job is to provide you with a secure framework that enables you to experience this transformation without ever feeling in danger, while allowing new perspectives to emerge and be transformed into behaviours.

The right posture

Accompanying individuals and groups requires the right posture, and I continue to train and work on my personal development to best serve your transformation. This week, I’m coming back from a continuing education retreat to better understand and integrate individual and group dynamics.

What’s your take on the comfort zone? Do you think we have to leave it to evolve, and what emotions does it provoke in you? Can transformation be achieved without a certain degree of discomfort?
