How do you give performance some meaning?

Many a time companies want to initiate a transformation to gain in performance or innovation. My take is that they won’t get it unless the people who are affected by the transformation see what’s in it for them (if such is the case), are given the opportunity to explore, understand and contribute.

In this workshop, we started exploring together the meaning of two corporate values decided by top management: what does it mean for us? What does it mean for our factory? Our business? What impact does it have on our daily lives?

We explored how to respond to these values, what was working and what needed to evolve. We gradually went from abstractions to projects to concrete actions using the Lego Serious Play methodology and a dynamic evaluation of where we stand based upon the four seasons of Nature.
